Hi,

I have a problem with backup of Oracle with new versions of Oracle and Legato NetWorker.

I got next error messages from RMAN:

RMAN-03009: failure of allocate command on c1 channel at 05/12/2004 14:21:57

ORA-19554: error allocating device, device type: SBT_TAPE, device name:

ORA-27211: Failed to load Media Management Library

The versions of software are:

Recovery Manager: Release 9.2.0.5.0

Legato NetWorker Server 6.2

Legato Module for Oracle 4.1

Notice: RMAN does make complete backup to NetWorker server without scheduling (manual start of RMAN script). This errors occur when backup is started from NetWorker Server through NetWorker Client with specified resources defined for NMO configuration.
